Hanna Lindstrom

Hanna Lindstrom

Hanna began her yoga journey just out of high school about 5 years ago, in the beginning of her adulthood. Being a young yogi juggling school, work and bills, she was feeling the stress. Not only did this effect her feelings and emotions, but her physical body as well. Yoga allowed her to find peace amongst the chaos, and it’s healing, calming and centered effects had her hooked from the start. Discovering that yoga had so much to offer, she desired to deepen her practice spiritually and philosophically. In August 2014, she received her 200 hour certification, and began teaching right away! Her Vinyasa flow style classes have a strong focus on synchronizing breath to movement, and incorporate fundamental yoga postures which increase energy, strength, flexibility, and balance. Hanna’s goal is cultivating not just strong and flexible bodies, but also calm and centered minds. These practices have helped her realize a calm, relaxed, happy way of being, and it is my intention to share the same experience with her students.

Jennifer Balalis

Jennifer Balalis

Jennifer began yoga in 2011 and fell in love with in her first class. She completed her 200-Hour RYT teacher training through Cloud Nine Yoga in the summer of 2012. She is soft-spokem and overcame her fear of public speaking to share her love of yoga with others. She always knew that her love of teaching was stronger than her fear, and she faced if head-on during teacher training, sometimes through tears. Now, she confidently teaches chair yoga for seniors, restorative yoga, yin yoga and good health with others. She teaches yoga because it makes her a better student, both on and off the mat. She has learned to slow down and really enjoy each experience to the fullesst. An avid runner, she just completed her eleventh half marathon. Three years ago her focus was getting a fast race time. Since practicing yoga regularly, her favorite race memory is of her second time running the Long Beach half marathon, and stopping to get a hug and a kiss at mile eight from her son. It was at that moment that she realized that running, yoga and LIFE is about enjoying the present and stopping for that hug and kiss, rather than getting a slightly faster time. This now, is how she views yoga; being present in life, with gratitude. She considers herself a work in progress and her goal is to create a safe space to come together to practice. She looks forward to seeing you on your mat.

Ramtin Pourvasi

Ramtin Pourvasi

Ramtin is a Certified Kundalini yoga teacher, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Reiki practitioner. He has been blessed with a spiritual name Jasmel Singh, which means the Lion of God who is blessed with the union with God. Ramtin’s first exposure to Kundalini yoga and meditation was back in the year 2006 through a CD and a simple manual that was sent to him by Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa. After only couple of weeks of practicing Kundalini Yoga and meditation, he noticed a mindset and energy shift within him. Ramtin continued his practice of Kundalini Yoga off and on for next few years, but the real journey started with teacher training in 2011 here at Seventh Chakra Yoga.

Ramtin believes as human beings we are comprised of Mind, Body and Spirit. In order to experience this life fully, we have to honor all aspects of who we are. Our mind/soul is the most powerful tool we have for this experience of life. The quality of our life is determined by the harmony between our mind/body and the spirit. The sacred science of Kundaini Yoga is the most complete and ancient technology that honors every dimension of our being.

Ramtin also believes that “change occurs when mind, body and spirit work in harmony.” That-as human beings- we are here to evolve through consciousness. And if we do not expand our consciousness, we are by default controlled by our subconscious habits and behaviors.

Come join Ramtin for a transformative class of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, to expand your conscious awareness and the power you possess within.

Randy Ueda

premdev

Randy’s life was completely transformed when he found Kundalini Yoga towards the end of 2013. He attended his first class due to unbearable lower back pain, and within two weeks the pain began to vanish. Within a few months he developed a daily practice and has continued ever since, having just recently become a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher.

Randy believes there is one universal source of energy from which all life stems, and our goal is to align ourselves with this One Infinite vibration. Doing so allows us to recognize our own Infinity, the vast and infinite power that dwells within each and every heart. Connecting our finite self to the Infinite Source of All enables us to enjoy an ever-expanding state of peace, love, joy, prosperity, and bliss. Randy focuses on clearing the subconscious mind and ridding the mind/body/spirit complex of negative and defeating behaviors, thoughts, and emotions. Ridding our being of unwanted and unhelpful behaviors, thoughts, and emotions allows to move ever closer to our true and Infinite Self, full of love and light for self and others. He teaches the Tuesday morning 11:00am class, Breaking Habits and Behavioral Addictions.
